How Can I Help?
Many people have asked; "How can we help?" with the O.A.S.I.S. mission of providing food assistance to needy people in St. Charles County.
Following are ways you may help with our relocation and with our ongoing mission:
1. Donations:
Donations for purchasing food and for operating costs of the pantry can be sent to:
OASIS Food Pantry
P.O. Box 1463
St. Peters, MO 63366
Donations to help with the imminent relocation of the pantry can be sent to:
OASIS Relocation and Building Fund
P.O. Box 1776
St. Peters, MO 63366
2. Pledges:
You may pledge a regular donation to the O.A.S.I.S. Food Pantry. Just establish the amount you wish to pledge and how often you want to give. Send your first check to the above address(es) along with a note telling us the amount you are pledging and how often we will receive your contribution. Pledges are not binding. We understand that circumstances for the donor can change. A pledge will allow us to have a better knowledge of what our income will be and lets us plan for the future accordingly.
3. Designated Payroll Deduction:
Some employers offer the opportunity for you to contribute to the charity of your choice via payroll deduction. In many cases they will also match donations to a certain level. If your employer offers this option it is a great way for you to help our mission on an on-going basis. All you have to do is check with your Human Resources representative and arrange for this regular contribution.
4. Annual Golf Tournament:
Visit the special events page, to get information about our Annual Tournament.
Regardless of whether or not you play golf, there are several ways you can support this fund raising tournament. The various ways include:
Become a tournament sponsor. Sponsorships are available for individuals, businesses, churches, organizations, etc. To become a sponsor use the player application/sponsor form available on this web site or call a golf committee member. Their names and numbers are available by visiting the special events page on this web site.
Donate to the auction that will be held following the tournament. Examples of items to donate include tickets to sporting or other major events, vacations or any other item you think would be popular.

Donate to the gift bags that will be provided to all players or donate something for the tournament door prizes.
You can have your own team play in the tournament. Just arrange your players and submit the player application/sponsor form.
You may also contact Terry Rodewald at 636-978-6341 or Richard Hake at 636-625-1850 for further details or to arrange donation of auction items, gift bag items and/or door prizes.
5. Contributions from Business and other Organizations:
Most of the money we receive from a business or an organization comes to us because an individual (maybe you) solicits a contribution. If you have an employer or are a member of an organization and you feel O.A.S.I.S is a cause worthy of help, we encourage you to make the appropriate contacts to ask for a contribution to O.A.S.I.S. If there are forms to fill out or information to provide, we will gladly provide help with forms and provide any needed information.

Please Note:
We have a major financial need facing us as a result of our need to relocate.
The owner of the buildings we currently occupy has advised us we will need to relocate due to planned redevelopment of the site we currently lease. This owner has been one of O.A.S.I.S. Food Pantry's most generous benefactors. He has provided space for us at well below market prices. A specific relocation date is not yet known.
We are looking at available property. From what is available; we expect our annual cost for a building with the space we need (to meet the growth in the families needing help) will increase by $40,000 and possibly much more. This extra cost is in addition to the costs we now incur for food purchases and other operating expense. We have no labor expense as all work is entirely by volunteers. There are no paid employees at O.A.S.I.S.
In order to plan for the additional costs at a different location we have created an O.A.S.I.S. Relocation and Building Fund. We are placing a portion of our current revenue in this fund and have also begun seeking grants, donations and pledges and other methods to grow this fund. Donations to this fund should be sent to:
