Renovation

Over the past years we have completed renovation of all of the buildings. Our next need is to replace the heating and air conditioning in the pantry. We are very grateful to our “very giving community” for the donations of renovation materials and volunteer labor and dollar donations that allowed us to renovate this property for under 30% of the cost if we had to pay full price for this work to be done. As a result of this community effort the assessed value of the property was increased by over $130,000.

On July 11, 2011 we purchased this property so now the O.A.S.I.S. MISSION will have a permanent home. We currently have a $100,000 mortgage but have lowered our $2,200 per month lease costs down to $700 per month mortgage. As a result; more of your donated dollars can go to provide food and hygiene items for the ever increasing need in these recession times.   

The current air conditioning and heating systems are over 30 years old and is very costly to operate. Also a number of the units do not work and parts for repair are difficult to find and some parts are simply not available. This is our last major project.
